Thorsten Lenertat sheds light on key aspects of compressed air treatment in food production

On 4 July 2024, our Focus Industry Manager Thorsten Lenertat will give an important workshop at the KIN e.V. food institute. Under the title ‘Just air? - Safe use of compressed air in the food industry", Lenertat will focus on the critical safety aspects of using compressed air in food production - a highly relevant topic that is often underestimated.

The KIN Food Institute, known for its commitment to quality and safety in food production for over 50 years, uses its academy to offer a wide range of training courses. These cover everything from process technology and quality management to product development and are supported by an in-house accredited laboratory, which plays a key role in quality assurance in Industry 4.0.

The KIN Institute's partnership with BEKO TECHNOLOGIES as specialist in compressed air treatment, emphasises the importance of the practical knowledge transfer that KIN offers. Compressed air plays a central role in the cleaning, filling, blending and packaging of food and poses significant risks if it is not properly cleaned and monitored.

For professionals and those interested in learning more about safe practices in the food industry, the upcoming workshop at the KIN Institute is an excellent opportunity. Registration is open via the Institute's website. The workshop will be held in German language. Individual inhouse workshops can be organized in English language.
