How DRYPOINT RA III works

At the core of every DRYPOINT RA refrigeration dryer lies the cutting-edge heat exchanger. The highly efficient counter-flow process allows for optimal heat exchange throughout its entirety. The laminar airflow through the condenser and the calming zone in the demister ensure ideal moisture condensation with minimal losses in compressed air. The collected condensate is discharged reliably and without loss through the integrated BEKOMAT condensate drain.

The refrigeration is generated and transported by exceptionally efficient refrigeration compressors utilizing environmentally friendly refrigerants. This approach ensures not only optimal drying conditions but also underscores our commitment to sustainability and environmental protection.

The DRYPONT RA III refrigeration dryers use eco-friendly R513a refrigerant, with low GWP and ASHRAE A1 classification for non-flammability, alongside zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). Achieving a 33% reduction in refrigerant quantity underscores our dedication to sustainability. The nearly azeotropic composition ensures stable performance throughout the evaporation and condensation process.

Our 3rd generation appliances come equipped with a patented hot gas bypass valve specially developed for refrigeration drying. This innovative technology ensures consistent dew point stability across a range from 0 to 100% compressed air load, eliminating the risk of freezing. The valve requires no additional adjustments, guaranteeing maximum long-term reliability.

Microchannel condensor

Unique microchannel capacitor for optimized performance

Our highly optimized microchannel condenser is a standard feature in all devices starting from 100 scfm (please check the specification in M³/h!). This unique component not only enhances unit performance but also bolsters the reliability of the design, precisely maintaining the desired dew point. Additionally, it contributes to improved overall cooling efficiency, resulting in a reduced need for compressor size and further energy savings
