The electronically level-controlled condensate drain
Where there is compressed air, there is condensate. It usually contains oil, is contaminated with dirt particles and spreads throughout the compressed air network. The removal of condensate is therefore one of the key purposes of compressed air treatment. We help you to remove condensate from the compressed air and to achieve the optimum quality for your application: with the BEKOMAT. And we are the specialists – as the millions of BEKOMAT condensate drains are in operation worldwide demonstrate. BEKOMAT the first electronically level-controlled condensate drain and a synonym for expert condensate drainage.
Our industrial standard for reliable condensate drainage
The standard versions are made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, making the BEKOMAT® particularly reliable and robust. A special silver-coloured coating protects the outside of the housing. For oil-free condensate, we recommend the BEKOMAT® hard coated models that come in a in a glass bead blasted housing with a high-grade hard coating.

The BEKOMAT® designed for quick and cost-effective servicing
The BEKOMAT designed for quick and cost-effective servicing. The innovative design of the BEKOMAT 31U, 32U, 33U and 33U CO models is optimised for easy handling, installation and maintenance. These BEKOMAT versions consist of no more than three assemblies joined together with quick-release connectors. Once installed, the electronic control and sensor unit stays in place as only the service unit (including all wear and pressure parts) needs to be exchanged. This robust condensate drain is suitable for both oil-contaminated and oil-free condensate.
BEKOMAT 20 | 20FM
The BEKOMAT 20 FM with integrated filter management (filter status time display and filter status control) is a cost-effective monitoring solution for the connected filter element. It is designed as a robust condensate drain for water separators, filters or similar applications and can be used both in systems with oil-lubricated as well as with oil-free compressors. The plastic housing of the BEKOMAT 20 FM is equipped with an internal aluminium condensate container. The front panel is slanted for good visibility and display of the BEKOMAT and/or filter status. Alternatively, choose the BEKOMAT 20 without filter management for your water-separators

BEKOMAT® drains for special and demanding applications
The condensate discharge requirements are ultimately determined by the purpose for which the treated compressed air is used. We aim at offering our customers optimised solutions for your specific applications. With our comprehensive range of condensate drains, we cater for virtually all compressor types and performance levels, system pressures and operating conditions – including of course highly specialised applications which require special BEKOMAT versions.

Digitalised process reliability - more than just rudimentary monitoring
The BEKOMAT i4.0 product range fulfils the expectations placed on IIoT-capable systems: Networkability, remote monitoring, flexibility and, above all, geared to the future.
Important information, such as the current status or the time remaining until the next service, can be conveniently transmitted to a central control centre. This increases process reliability and maintenance can be planned even more individually.

How does the condensate drain work?
The BEKOMAT® is an electronically level-controlled condensate drain used for draining off condensate in compressed air systems. The condensate formed is collected in the BEKOMAT® and the filling level is monitored by an integrated capacitive sensor. When the defined filling level is reached, the condensate is discharged via a pilot-controlled solenoid valve. When the defined filling level is reached, only the condensate is automatically discharged without losing valuable compressed air.
Benefits If a float drain leaks, then high costs arise as a result of leaks. Time-controlled solenoid valves also cause compressed air losses. During the valve opening, expensively generated compressed unused compressed air escapes into the environment. In contrast a level-controlled condensate drain guarantees discharge without any compressed air loss i.e. also energy loss. This not only saves energy and costs, but also CO2 emissions.
Robust
The standard design is made in corrosion-resistant aluminium, which makes the BEKOMAT particularly reliable and robust. A silver-coloured coating protects the outside of the housing. The BEKOMAT CO models are predestined for operating with oil-free or aggressive condensates. Their housing is additionally, completely glass bead blasted and protected by a high-quality hard coating.
Quick
Condensate drains with service concept – quick and service-friendly
The innovative design of the BEKOMAT 31U, 32U, 33U and 33U CO series enables simplified handling as well as installation and maintenance with minimum time expenditure. The BEKOMAT consist of no more than three units joined together with quick-release connectors. The electronic control and sensor units are only installed once, only the service unit (including all wear and pressure parts) needs to be exchanged for maintenance purposes. This robust condensate drain is suitable for both oil-contaminated and oil-free, condensates.
Special
Condensate drains for special requirements
Based on our decades of experience, we have developed and implemented numerous additional functions for special requirements for our customers in a wide variety of industries, following on from on the classic advantages of the BEKOMAT. These have proved themselves in a wide variety of application areas - you can also now benefit from our unique know-how.
Condensation occurs everywhere
Where is your BEKOMAT condensate drain located?
Compressor
Oil-free compressors often produce very acidic condensates. Hard-coated BEKOMATcondensate drains have a special coating and are ideally suited for this purpose.
BEKOMAT solutions are also available for multi-stage compressors and turbo compressors, also for special requirements according to your installation.
Aftercooler/ Water separator
The highest condensate volume is generated at the water-separator. The level-controlled BEKOMATcondensate drain reliably ensures safe discharge according to the condensate level.
Our extensive range offers you the right solution for a wide variety of condensate volumes and pressures - and even for explosion-proof environments if required.
Storage tank
Large particles in the form of rust, for example, are present in air vessels. No problem for our BEKOMATcondensate drain: thanks to its large outlet cross-section, it is particularly insensitive to dirt and hardly susceptible to blockages.
And if something prevents the BEKOMAT from draining, it tries to self-clear itself before an alarm is triggered.
Filters
Condensate builds up in systems in a short period of time which can cause a variety of problems including poor system efficiency, corrosion as well as excessive wear and tear on surrounding equipment.
Our BEKOMAT Filter-Management drains and other larger BEKOMAT versions are available for the safe and reliable draining of condensate from your filters.
Dryer
Only a small amount of condensate should reach the refrigeration dryer, but condensate still accumulates in the aftercoolers.
A correctly sized BEKOMATcondensate drain at each collection point, reliably and safely discharges the condensate.
