METPOINT^® UD01/UD02: Plug-on displays

Many production, treatment and processing processes often require real-time data and information to be available locally, in order to directly evaluate the compressed air quality and implement corrective action when necessary. The display for the indications is therefore built in between the transducer and the data cable. The METPOINT UD01 and UD02 plug-on displays indicate measurement data such as e.g. pressure or dew point directly on the transducer, exactly at the point where they occur.

The plug-on indicators are suitable for all transducers with a 4 ... 20 mA / 2 cable analogue outlet. The user settings (measuring range, alarm values) remain even in case of power failure or conversion to other sensors. Overrange in both directions is indicated optically (LED) and as 4-20mA value at UD02.

The UD02 plug-on display comes with two integrated alarm contacts. This therefore enables e.g. Preliminary and main alarms can be signalled simply as visual and acoustic alarm signals.
If the UD02 triggers an alarm, then respective LEDs located beside the digital display will illuminate and the relevant switching contacts will be activated. The device is shipped with a number of unit labels.
